Terms and conditions

Junk Dads LLC provides residential and commercial junk removal, cleanout, and light demolition services in Boone, Kenton, and Campbell Counties, Kentucky, and surrounding areas. Free on-site estimates are provided before any pickup work begins. We price residential and commercial pickups by trailer utilization, meaning you are charged based on the portion of trailer space your items occupy, subject to a $150 minimum pickup. Final pricing is always confirmed with you in person or in writing before work begins, and you are under no obligation to proceed with a job after receiving an estimate.

When you book a free estimate or a pickup, we will contact you by phone, text, or email to confirm a time. You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the areas where items are located. We are not responsible for delays caused by inaccessible property, locked gates, unsafe conditions, or inaccurate information provided at booking.

For the safety of our crew and compliance with Kentucky and federal disposal regulations, we do not accept the following: hazardous or flammable materials, asbestos, biological or medical waste, ammunition or explosives, radioactive materials, and similar regulated hazardous substances. Appliances containing refrigerant (refrigerators, freezers, window air conditioning units, dehumidifiers) require professional Freon recovery before disposal and may require separate scheduling. We reserve the right to decline any item that poses a safety, health, or legal risk, or that is not accurately described to us prior to pickup.

The price we quote on-site reflects the job as described and shown to us at that time. If the actual volume, weight, or difficulty of a job materially differs from what was described (for example, additional items added after the estimate, items requiring special handling, or access that is significantly more difficult than represented), we will let you know before continuing and may adjust the price accordingly. Payment is due upon completion of the work unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept the payment methods listed at the time of booking.

We understand that plans change. We ask for as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule an estimate or pickup so we can offer that time to another customer.

Our crew takes care when working on your property, including driveways, lawns, walkways, and interior spaces. However, junk removal work can involve inherent risk, and by requesting our Services you acknowledge that risk. Junk Dads LLC is not liable for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions on your property, items you asked us to move through tight or unsafe spaces, or conditions you did not disclose to us in advance. We carry general liability insurance and will address damage caused by our crew's negligence; documentation of coverage is available upon request. Our total liability for any claim related to the Services is limited to the amount you paid for that specific job.

Where possible, we donate usable items to local organizations, including DCCH Center for Children and Families, and recycle materials rather than sending them to a landfill. Items that cannot be donated or recycled are disposed of at licensed facilities. For electronics, we recommend you remove or wipe any personal data before we take the item; we are not responsible for data remaining on any device left in our care.

By submitting your phone number through our website, you consent to receive text messages and phone calls from Junk Dads LLC related to your estimate request, scheduling, service confirmations, and invoicing. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, or ask us directly by phone. Replying HELP will provide assistance contact information. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may take before-and-after photos of jobs for internal records, insurance, and quality purposes. We will not publish photos that identify your home, address, or personal information without your permission. If you leave us a review, we may feature it on our website or social media using your first name and general location as provided.

As part of our marketing and content operation, our crew may record video during your service visit. We do not film hoarding or clean-out situations that involve sensitive circumstances, out of respect for your privacy. On all other jobs, we ask for your permission before filming begins, and you're always welcome to say no, no explanation needed, and we'll skip it for your visit with zero impact on your service. Any footage we do use publicly has faces, license plates, and addresses blurred, nothing identifying about you or your property is ever shown.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services or applicable law. The version posted at nkyjunkdads.com/terms is the version currently in effect. Continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our Services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Boone County, Kentucky.
