Become a
Junk Dad.
Above average pay, daylight hours, and a crew that has your back. No corporate ladder, no call center, no chance you'll be a number here.
Five minute application · No resume required · A real person calls you back
What you get
Paid above the going rate, on purpose
This industry has a habit of paying the least it can get away with and burning through people. We went the other direction. Pay people well, treat them right, and they stay. Customers can feel the difference on every job.
Starting pay
$25 / hour
Crew members start at $25 an hour, above the going rate in this market. Good people cost more and they're worth it.
Tips
100% yours
All tips go to our guys. Every dollar goes to the person who earned it, never split into the register.
Hours
Daylight
Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 4pm. Closed Sundays, so your family gets that day.
Drive time
Local only
Everything is inside Northern Kentucky. You are never sent three hours out and back.
The crew
A family business that acts like one
Junk Dads is two brothers who are dads, building something their kids can watch them build. Anyone who joins the crew gets folded into that, not slotted into a headcount.
You're treated like family, not a number
There's no call center between you and the owners. Josh and Thomas are on jobs with you, and if something's wrong you tell them to their face and it gets fixed that day.
Veteran owned, veteran friendly
Josh served 20 years. Discipline, accountability and taking care of the person next to you aren't buzzwords here, they're how the trucks get run.
You leave every job better than you found it
Customers thank you by name. Grandmothers hug you. You will finish days knowing exactly what you accomplished, which is rarer than it should be.
Real schedule, real notice
You know your week ahead of time. We don't text you at 9pm to say be somewhere at 6am. Your time matters as much as ours.

A day on the truck
Hard work you can be proud of
You'll clear a garage a family has been avoiding for eleven years. You'll help a widow empty a house she can't face alone. You'll finish a job site so a crew can actually work in the morning. Then you'll drive away and the person waves at you from the porch.
It's physical, it's hot in the summer, and it's honest. Nobody here wonders whether their day mattered.
